What my husband does....

Well I guess that title is a little misleading...I guess its more of what he doesn't do. Today was laundry day and with the mounds and mound of filthy clothes that has piled up throughout the week comes my sign and fear that I am attatch to this wretched machine for life...a life sentence of laundry that I was bought out for with a Ring. I am cheap, I should of held out for more. I work full Time and I have 3 kids well 4 if you count the old man. Laundry day is procrastinated and feared by many women. You are defeated before you start you know that it never ends its infected with yeast or something.

Being that I have a full time job, outside of the home, I have had to train my kids to fold and put away their own clothes. If my 9,8 and 4 year old children can do this, why can't my 32 year old husband? While I'm at it why can't my husband clean the bathrooms vaccum sweep and mop the floors, fill the dishwasher with more then six dishes, cook without making a huge mess, put his dishes and the sink and rinse them, put his tools back into his tool box he wanted so badly, put his emties in the recycling, finish any renos he has started, put his dirty clothes in the laundry hamper, take out the garbage, shovel the driveway when it snows.

I guess that was mean maybe I should write what he does do.......*chirp, chirp*.....I'll get back to you on that one.

I guess I hope that he will change, I try to make things easier for him to help me around the house, but it never goes anywhere. I have screamed, cried, seriously considered having myself incarcerated it never ends. I have to "suck it up princess" and do things "innocently" to piss him off, like go to bed and pile all his freshly laundered clothes on his side of the bed, so when he goes he has to move it, yes I said move because heaven forbid he ever think to just put it away and earn a gold star!
